Delete your Moviefy account

This page explains how to delete your account in Moviefy: Tamil Movie Quiz by VJApps, and what happens to your data.

Option 1: Delete it in the app (instant)

1. Open Moviefy on Android, iPhone or at moviefy.in and sign in.
2. Tap your profile picture at the top of the home screen, or go to Settings → Profile & account.
3. Tap Delete account at the bottom of the page.
4. Tap Delete to confirm.

Option 2: Ask us by email

If you can no longer sign in, email [email protected] from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my Moviefy account" and your username. We will delete the account within 30 days and confirm by email.

What is deleted

• Your account: username, display name, email address and password.
• Your profile details: gender, place and profile picture, if you added them.
• Your game history, scores, streaks and leaderboard entries.

Deletion from the app happens immediately and cannot be undone.

What may be kept

• Server security logs that may contain IP addresses are kept for a limited period and then overwritten.
• Anonymous analytics held by Google Firebase is not linked to your name or email and expires under Google's standard retention settings.
• Your push notification token stays with OneSignal until you uninstall the app or turn notifications off.

Delete only some data

You can change your display name and place in Profile & account → Edit profile. To remove other details, such as your gender or profile picture, without deleting your account, email [email protected] and we will remove them within 30 days.
